I make soaps that turn daily care into a calm ritual—fresh, cozy, quietly luxurious. I’m Patty, and this is Honest Origins Farm. I’m a mental health clinician with a career shaped by auditing for quality and integrity—work that ensures people receive meaningful, high-quality care. That same steady attention carries into my soaps, from every handcrafted recipe to the quiet rest on the curing rack.

A few years ago, I began paying closer attention to what I was putting on my skin. I’ve always been drawn to nature, simple ingredients, and the quiet strength of traditional ways of doing things. Cold process soap felt like a natural extension of that — whole oils, real materials, and a method that honors the integrity of each ingredient.

What started as curiosity became steady practice. I learned what worked, what felt right, and what left skin truly comfortable. Honest Origins Farm grew from that place: small batches, thoughtfully chosen ingredients, and soap made with respect for both the land and the people who use it.

ON THE WAY TO REGENERATIVE
Step by step: assess, restore, then plant. We’re focusing on soil health now and preparing for future habitat and cover crops. Until then, we use responsibly sourced botanicals, with farm-grown additions and honey on the horizon.

OUR INGREDIENTS
A considered base chosen for feel, lather, and longevity:
• olive oil for a gentle, creamy wash
• coconut oil for a satisfying cleanse and lively bubbles
• shea butter for cushion and comfort
• avocado oil for a soft, nourished finish
• castor oil to enrich and stabilize the lather
We add mineral clays and botanicals for natural color and texture, and scent with essential oils that feel fresh and inviting—never overpowering. No synthetic fragrances, detergents, or dyes.

HOW WE MAKE
Cold process. Small batch. Hand-poured and hand-cut. Long cures for a firm, long-lasting bar. Straightforward ingredient lists you can read at a glance—real oils, butters, and botanicals; no mystery fillers—plus recyclable and/or biodegradable packaging, because what’s good for your skin should be good for your home and the land, too.
