Hi, I’m Patty.
I’m Patty and this is Honest Origins Farm. I’m a mental health clinician with a background in auditing for quality and integrity — work focused on making sure care is thoughtful, consistent, and effective. That same attention carries into my products, from each handcrafted recipe to the quiet rest on the curing rack.
A few years ago, I began paying closer attention to what I was putting on my skin. I’ve always been drawn to simple ingredients and traditional methods. Cold process soap felt like a natural extension of that — real oils, honest materials, and a process that respects each ingredient. What started as curiosity became steady practice.
I believe in using ingredients your skin doesn’t have to fight against or recover from. Each product is made with ingredients your skin already recognizes and knows how to use — designed to support your skin, not work against it.

- Tallow for deep nourishment and barrier support
- Olive oil for a gentle, creamy wash
- Coconut oil for a satisfying cleanse and bubbles
- Shea butter for cushion and comfort
- Avocado oil for a soft, nourished finish
- Castor oil to enrich and stabilize the lather
We also use mineral clays and botanicals for natural color and texture, and scent with essential oils. No synthetic fragrances, detergents, or dyes.
Cold process. Small batch. Hand-poured and hand-cut. Each bar is cured for several weeks to create a firm, longer-lasting soap with a balanced feel on skin.

Our farm is on a healing path. For years this land worked hard under large-scale agriculture, and soil like that doesn’t recover overnight. We believe the land deserves rest before we ask more of it — so right now, we’re letting it breathe.
Once the soil is ready, we’ll grow our own botanicals and tend our own bees — bringing what’s grown here directly into what we make. Lavender harvested steps from the curing room. Honey from hives we know. That’s where we’re headed. We’ll take you along the way.
