TERMS OF SALE & PRODUCT USE AGREEMENT

Seller: Honest Origins Farm
(“Honest Origins Farm,” or “Seller")

NOTICE OF AGREEMENT

By accessing this website, placing an order, submitting payment, receiving products, or using products sold by Honest Origins Farm, you (“Customer,” “Purchaser,” or “User”) acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below.

1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND NATURE

Honest Origins Farm produces handmade soap and body care products in small batches.

Because products are handcrafted and made with natural ingredients:

• Color, texture, scent, and appearance may vary between batches
• Such variations are normal and do not constitute defects

Products are intended for external cosmetic use only.

2. NO MEDICAL CLAIMS OR WARRANTIES

Products sold by Honest Origins Farm:

• Are not medical products
• Are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
• Are not a substitute for professional medical care

No medical, therapeutic, or health claims are made or implied.

3. INGREDIENT DISCLOSURE & ALLERGY RESPONSIBILITY

Ingredient information is provided for Customer review.

Customer acknowledges and agrees:

• Natural, animal and plant-based ingredients may cause allergic or sensitivity reactions
• Individual skin responses vary
• Customer is responsible for reviewing ingredient lists prior to purchase
• Patch testing on a small area of skin before full use is strongly recommended

Honest Origins Farm is not responsible for allergic reactions, sensitivities, or adverse skin responses.

4. PROPER USE DISCLAIMER

Customer agrees to:

• Use products only as intended
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes
• Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs
• Keep products away from children and pets unless supervised

Seller is not responsible for misuse of products.

5. STORAGE AND PRODUCT CARE

Customer agrees to:

• Store products in a cool, dry location
• Avoid prolonged exposure to heat, moisture, or direct sunlight

Improper storage may affect product longevity and performance and is the responsibility of the Customer.

6. ORDER ACCEPTANCE AND PRICING

All orders are subject to acceptance by Honest Origins Farm.

Seller reserves the right to:

• Refuse or cancel orders
• Limit quantities
• Correct pricing errors
• Modify product availability

Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

7. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is due at time of purchase unless otherwise stated.

Orders will not be processed or shipped until payment is received and confirmed.

8. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier:

• Risk of loss transfers to the Customer
• Delivery delays caused by carriers, weather, or circumstances beyond Seller’s control are not the responsibility of Honest Origins Farm

Customer is responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

Seller is not responsible for lost packages due to incorrect addresses provided by Customer.

9. HEAT SENSITIVITY AND MELTING DISCLAIMER (BODY BUTTER PRODUCTS)

Certain products sold by Honest Origins Farm, including body butters and balm-style items, are made with natural oils and fats that are sensitive to heat.

Customer acknowledges and agrees:

·         Body butter products may soften or melt during warm weather or transit

·         Melting does not indicate product defect or contamination

·         Texture changes caused by heat exposure do not affect product usability

Seller is not responsible for melting or texture changes caused by shipping conditions, ambient temperatures, or storage after delivery.

Customer may re-solidify melted products by placing the container in a cool environment or refrigerator.

10. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Due to the personal and hygienic nature of soap and body care products:

• All sales are final unless product arrives damaged or defective
• Claims for damaged or defective items must be submitted within 2 days of delivery
• Proof of damage or defect may be required

Refunds or replacements are issued at the sole discretion of Honest Origins Farm.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted:

Honest Origins Farm shall not be liable for:

• Allergic reactions or sensitivities
• Skin irritation or adverse reactions
• Improper use or misuse of products
• Improper storage or handling
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or personal losses

Customer assumes full responsibility for product use after delivery.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Honest Origins Farm from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Misuse of products
• Failure to follow provided instructions
• Violation of these Terms
• Third-party claims related to Customer’s actions

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content, product descriptions, images, branding, and written materials are the property of Honest Origins Farm and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

14. GOOD FAITH PURCHASE

Customer agrees not to:

• Commit payment fraud
• Abuse refund systems
• Perform chargeback abuse
• Make false damage or defect claims

Seller reserves the right to refuse future service to Customers engaging in abusive behavior.

15. SEVERABILITY

If any portion of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. CHANGES TO TERMS

Seller reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time by updating this page.

Continued use of the website or purchase of products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. ACCEPTANCE

Acceptance of these Terms occurs when the Customer:

• Places an order
• Submits payment
• Receives products
• Uses products

 

CUSTOMER ELIGIBILITY

Customer represents that they are of legal age to make purchases and have authority to enter into a purchase transaction.
